What to get in touch about
- Corrections. If a formula, figure or piece of guidance is wrong or outdated, tell us which page and what it should be.
- Calculator questions. If a result looks wrong, send the numbers you entered and what you expected.

What we cannot help with
We cannot diagnose your pet, advise on symptoms, recommend medication or dosages, or tell you whether something is an emergency. We are not vets and we cannot examine your animal.
If your pet is unwell
Contact your own veterinary practice. Outside opening hours, most practices divert to an emergency service — the number is usually on their answerphone or website. Breathing difficulty, collapse, suspected poisoning, bloated abdomen, inability to urinate, or a cat that has stopped eating for more than a day all warrant contacting a vet straight away rather than waiting.
Response times
This is a small independent site rather than a company with a support desk. We aim to reply within a few days, and corrections are usually acted on faster than that.
